Why do we like this?
Sir Bishop reached out to me after I shared Feverkin's "Dream Journal." Both are Georgia-based musicians finding their ways in and around the musical webs of Atlanta.
Turns out Feverkin and Sir Bishop have worked together. Along with Asheville producer Koresma, they cooked up "Lost Souls," which Sir Bishop describes as "a chill alternative to most Southern Hip Hop". There are some distinct Jay Elec / Dilla vibes afoot, which likely accounts for how a track about coming after lost souls can sound so mellow.
