Why do we like this?

Last time I myself picked up a track by Small Black, it was actually a Washed Out remix from 2009. So yeah, that goes reaaaally far back.

Fortunately they're still going at it six years later (and so am I). "No One Wants It To Happen To You" is their latest single, an indie rock track that hints at a touch of 80s inspiration.

Overall, I dig it, which should come as no surprise given that Jagjaguwar are behind it. You'll be able to grab it on October 16th as part of an album called Best Blues, available for pre-order here.
