We first wrote about Snoh Aalegrah way back in 2014, just after she dropped her debut EP. In the time since, the Swedish artist (who now lives in the US) has worked with hip-hop's crème de la crème including Common, RZA, Killer Mike and Vince Staples. On top of that, she was mentored by Prince - so you can pretty much guarantee she's a megastar in the making.
You may already recognize her new single 'Time', as a little artist known as Drake sampled it on his new release More Life. It's gentle and emotive, each phrase overflowing with sentimentality and soul. The R&B melody really highlights her rich, magnetizing voice throughout, with little more than keys filling the space behind her.
