In case you missed the memo, we're changing our name from Indie Shuffle to Aussie Shuffle. Not only is it catchier, but we expect that our sports skills will vastly improve. Frankly, there's not much money to be earned in publishing and/or music, so we figure a rugby or cricket contract is the only logical solution.
Or...we could just keep publishing song after song by artists from Down Under. Today we'll feature Strange Talk, a Melbourne-based group we highlighted for Song of the Day back in November. Their songs are awesomely catchy, reminiscent of something that could be pulled together by Empire of the Sun or The Temper Trap (both Aussies, I should add). This remix by Lightwaves is no exception, evincing a sound I've been particularly fond of lately. Basically it was a no brainer: Aussie + awesome song = Song of the Day.
