Do you know how it feels to try and have a conversation with an old friend, with whom you haven't spoken to in a while? That's sort of what writing this post feels like to me. While we've grown apart, you and I, I still love you. I've got a kid (cat) now though, and I cook dinner most nights. I even threw out my back making a TikTok the other evening, so it's not like I haven't been busy.
Finding new music hasn't been as easy as it once was. And mostly, I'm finding older music more attractive these days. Sunrom is one of the few artists I've continued to follow, release after release, with great results!
The song, "You Don't Know," off of his latest EP, Nocturnal, has stirred me awake, at last, from my blogging slumber. I was driven to write this post out of my love for the song, but also as a result of my controlling nature, ie. needing to be the only one on Indie Shuffle who covers Sunrom songs.
Hopefully we hear more from Sunrom, released on Ano Ano, soon.
