Why do we like this?

Swindle burst into the wider consciousness via an appearance on Gilles Peterson's GTA Radio station. The London-based producer has been honing his style -- a marriage of jazz and dubstep -- for a long while now.

His latest track, "Walter's Cool," sees him following up his Long Live the Jazz album with a delve even further into the genre, this time using a prominent big band sample and also tying in some footwork while he's at it. Swindle really is one of a kind, and it's exciting to hear an artist avoiding conventions and thinking outside the box like this.

You can get "Walter's Cool" as part of the Walter's Cool EP which will be collaboratively released by Deep Medi and Brownswood on October 20.
