The 1975 - Oh Caroline

Why do we like this?

The 1975 delivers a religious experience veiled in echoing choruses, blues guitars, and a eulogy of lyrical narrative.

"Oh Caroline" is a time machine into the soul, specifically, a soul that's been carrying a decision for years, whether bad or good, the decision had our protagonist by the throat - it's time to let go.

The track leaps into choral majesty, vast guitar riffs, and a vocal build that shimmers like a memory of the ocean, floating in and out of your mind like the currents of your life.

"Oh Caroline" is a spiritual event and so it makes it very difficult to not write about it in a religious way, but with all pomp and circumstance put aside - this track is a marvel.
