Why do we like this?

As an adult, I can say with full confidence that it’s boring to act your age. We all want to hang on to our youthfulness for as long as we can. This song is about reaching the point where you realize it’s time to strap in for adulthood, and as the title suggests, it’s time to finally start acting your age.

Overall, this tune is like a bright burst of energy coming from your speakers with it’s dance-able and lively sound. Between the fierce drums that are a solid part of the song’s foundation to the rock-style vocals coming from the lead singer, it reminds me a bit of the early 2000’s pop-punk scene.

It’s a fun pick-me-up to get some energy pumping, but this track is more modern and has an indie influence woven in.

“Acting My Age” comes from a four-piece, alternative band in Mullingar, Ireland. This is the title track from their new EP.
