Ladies and gentlemen, The Decemberists are back. They've been teasing their return for some time now, but today marks the first time we've had the opportunity to listen to the single in full.

"Make You Better" sees the band take a recognizable indie rock approach to song-writing: moody lyrics, alt-country twang and Colin Meloy's distinct vocals. Overall, it's a welcome return.

What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World will be released early in 2015.
