Why do we like this?

Well I'll be. There's a whole lot of energy going on here, and I can't help but find myself digging it.

Those of you listening will no doubt have jumped to "The White Stripes" as a natural comparison for LA-based The Great Escape's sound, and I wouldn't blame you. That said, there's still something good and original underlying it all.

Rumor has it this'll be included in an upcoming album, so if the quality holds up, I reckon it won't be the last you'll be hearing from this band.
