Why do we like this?
"All good things come to an end," U.K. artists Amber Bain croons in "Saw You In a Dream." But I wish that this song could just go on and on.
Bain harnesses the essence of melancholy indie pop to deliver a heavy does of nostalgia in this tune, describing a dream of a former lover so vivid and lovely that it almost makes her cry. As someone who experiences and remembers intense dreams on a nightly basis, her combination of harmonic, lush tones and an emotionally relatable message almost makes me cry.
