Why do we like this?

What's this we have here? A brand new song from The Kooks? Damned right!

"Down" is a wonderfully funky and upbeat track, set to be released on the band's upcoming EP Down (to be released April 18th).

I'm really digging the bare construction, a sound slightly reminiscent of music created by The Rapture. Clearly this type of catchy tune is wholly appropriate for 2014.
