Why do we like this?

I've been the huge fan of The Most Serene Republic since way back in 2005 when they released Underwater Cinematographer. That was roughly 4 years before I started Indie Shuffle, so had you told me back then that I'd one day get to work with the band...well, I would have been pretty stoked.

Today is that day! "Benefit of The Doubt" is the Canadian indie rock band's newest single, and we're lucky enough to get to premiere it for you.

The song comes as the third single off the sextet's upcoming full-length album Mediac - their first release in six years. It's a bit smoother than the first two, showcasing the same intricate song-writing that I've grown to know and love from the band.

Pre-order your copy of the album here, via MapleMusic Recordings.
