Why do we like this?
Arts & Crafts has to be one of my favorite labels. I've been listening to their bands for years now, including Feist, Broken Social Scene, Bloc Party, and so many more.
So, as with so many Fridays, I figured I'd do a bit of time travel and head to the year 2007, when The Most Serene Republic released Population. Chances are you've never heard of the album, but I have nothing but high praise.
One song in particular, "Solipsism Millionaires," found itself being looped over and over, clearly owing to the fantastic crescendo of harmony and emotion. Totally awesome song.
You can grab the album via Arts & Crafts' website, here.
