Why do we like this?

By golly, what do we have here? A new song from The Strokes? Why yes, it most certainly is!

Earlier this month it was announced that The Strokes had two new singles to be previewed, one entitled "All The Time" (which is believed to be a close run thing to The Strokes of old), and today's release "One Way Trigger," which no doubt heads in the opposite direction.

I'm not going to talk about how a band changes over time because in reality - it happens to everyone. In my opinion it's going to be a success no matter what people say simply because it's The Strokes and Julian Casablancas has that goddam sexy falsetto-y voice. Add one part peppy guitars, two parts of crazed synths and one helluva guitar solo in the middle (I think it may be a keytar), and I think it's safe to say everyone's happy.

No official date of the release of the album or even an album title but we can guarantee it will arrive sometime in 2013. We can't really complain really having only just received Angles back in 2011, this release was definitely a surprise.
