Why do we like this?
Although it's been out a little while, "Popup Cinema" by Tropics is just too beautiful not to share, even if it's tardy.
Combining a soft voice, which reminds us most of Rhye, with a minimal, The xx-inflected backdrop, it's easy to argue that "Popup Cinema" isn't really doing anything new. While that may be true, the elegance with which Tropics presents it makes this one far too good to chuck on the copycat pile.
