Why do we like this?

This band out of Nashville has been going at it for some time now, it seems. At first glance, this appears to be the 8th track uploaded to their SoundCloud. Remarkably, it's already gained more plays than all the rest combined.

Why? Because there's something about the dark pop sound that draws the listener in. I have a slightly hard time putting my finger on it, but my best guess would be to call it a synth-pop / dark version of Matt Pond PA. But only at times...

The song will be part of an EP titled Prefer You, set for release on November 11th. Until then, you can catch up on the prior 7 singles here.
