Why do we like this?

With the overabundance of heavily-produced music in today's music realm, it's sometimes refreshing to get a simple folk track sent your way.

Enter brand new band Twin Within, who's debut single "Bernie" is being premiered today by yours truly.

The duo of Steve McKay and Alex Samaras successfully capture an older sound a la Simon & Garfunkel or even Nick Drake. And therein lies the refreshing simplicity of their sound.

Twin Within's debut album Horizontal Lines will be available July 10th via Hidden Pony Records.
