Vacationer's Relief was my most anticipated record for 2014. Singles like "In The Grass" and "The Wild Life" offered the audience a sneak peek into the tropical pop makings of the Philly trio's latest album. I think it's safe to say it got a lot of people, including myself, pretty excited.
I've only been listening to the album for about two hours now, and my standout track would have to be "Paradise Waiting." As with most Vacationer songs, the title depicts exactly what you're about to experience. True to their name, it sends the listener's ears on a well deserved trip with no return.
I'm continually impressed by the group's ability to produce such luscious and dreamy soundscapes. It's impossible not to immerse yourself in the groovy piano melodies, reverberating guitars, and the altogether summery aura that this single possesses.
