Why do we like this?
What's the average size of a band these days? I'd probably say around 2-4 members would seem reasonable, right? Try 12 band members. Yup, that's Brisbane's garage rock outfit Velociraptor. Apart from their quirky and admittedly awesome band name, these guys make some pretty catchy rock songs; I would expect nothing less from the "Earth's Mightiest Band."
"Walk On By" is taken from their upcoming Velociraptor EP, which will feature two other brand new singles. I'm not usually the biggest fan of garage rock, but this Brisbane gang has a way of hooking you in with their fast paced guitar riffs, precise percussion, and their overwhelming energy. They definitely have a very Brit-pop feel to them, much like the Arctic Monkeys.
