Why do we like this?
Contrary to what you might think after listening to Viola Beach’s surf-rock inspired “Boys That Sing,” the four-piece band is actually not from California. In fact, they are from Warrington, UK, where the clouds typically overshadow the sun. But, these points are moot when considering what really matters: how fun and catchy the song is.
“Boys That Sing” is bright, cheery and the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. It fits the bill for the makings of a pop gem, with catchy lyrics and peppy musicality, so keep your eyes out for these lads to take over the airwaves.
Viola Beach is touring throughout the UK over the next couple of months, and we expect to hear more from them in the very near future. Stay tuned!
