If every person who listened to ViVii's "Wrap Your Arms" had to express an imagined time and place that the song evokes, I think we'd all come up with something different.
For me, I get a sense of drunked up beachside living. The clothing flows, the dominant hand often has a drink in hand, the waves crash as inhibitions are loosened. There is love in the air as humans turn to one another for distraction and fulfillment, and even the lonesome souls find their place around the bonfire every now and then.
This retro pop single from the Swedish band is about loving to be alone but also hating it. The band is back on tour with dates scheduled in the US (SXSW), Germany, and Sweden with more dates to come.
