Why do we like this?

It's been a long time since I've featured a high-energy alternative rock song like this one, but We Were Promised Jetpacks have deliver a throwback, noisy sound worthy of listening to in 2018.

"Repeating Patterns" comes off the Scottish band's upcoming new album The More I Sleep The Less I Dream, set for release on September 14th. I have a feeling it's the type of song that won't appeal to most people -- but for those who do like it, it'll give them a boost of energy that makes it all worthwhile (you can put me in the latter camp).
