It's refreshing hearing music from XO that isn't a remix. That's not to say his remixes are bad, just the opposite. The first time I heard of XO was his VIP remix of Destiny Child's "No Scrubs," and I vaguely remember hassling him via e-mail for a free download, it was that good.
Despite never getting the VIP remix, there is a normal version of XO's remix which did more than just suffice. What's equally exciting about XO's music is that he is 18 years old. Sunil Heera is among a growing roster of youthful British talent gracing the electronic dance scene with new music.
Accompanying Heera on this track is vocalist RobLaw. The American singer does a great job of filling the track with soul, while at the same time he succeeds in making you wish you had a voice. My recommendation: don't try sing a long to this within earshot of humans and animals alike.
