Indie rock is one of the oldest genres we blog about. And yet I constantly find myself amazed that through the masses, bands like this are still able to catch my attention.
Yes We Mystic made all the right moves on "No Harm." They started out with a slightly off-cadence tempo, introduced Everything Everything-esque falsetto vocals that weren't out of tune, and transitioned the song at regular intervals to keep me engaged.
Top that off with the fact they're from Canada, a country I don't typically associate with cutting-edge indie rock, and you've got yourself a recipe for blogging success. Props to Yes We Mystic.
