What's so good?
By Jason Grishkoff | Sep 06, 2012

Clearly it's not as good as getting new Radiohead, but Atoms For Peace is a close runner up. Why's that? Well, it's a friggin' dream team: Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Nigel Godrich (producer for Radiohead). Wow, right?

No surprises, though. The music ends up sounding a whole lot like Radiohead and/or Thom Yorke's solo project, as evidenced by this new single "Default" (released today on iTunes). But that's totally fine. If you've got a good thing, why change it?

The single will officially be released September 10th via XL Recordings, so there hasn't been much press to accompany it just yet. We'll just have to let the tune speak for itself.
