For those of you wary of dubstep, note that this isn’t the Skrillex kind. This is what I’d term “mellow dubstep.” It still has the signature 140BMP womp womp, but is far less jarring and tends to try and retain a melody.
“Venus as a Boy” is one of Björk’s older songs, released as the second single off her 1993 album Debut. Interesting to note that while technically this was Björk’s second album, her first was released 16 years prior in 1977 — a year I’d venture to guess that none of us were alive in.
