Bowerbirds
Tuck the Darkness In

"Tuck the Darkness In"

Sounds like: Department of Eagles, Great Lake Swimmers, Megafaun

What's so good?

Bowerbirds have given a sneak peak at their upcoming album The Clearing with this new single “Tuck the Darkness In.”

The North Carolina band has come quite a way since they formed in 2006, as evidenced by the fact that this album was recorded in Bon Iver’s studios. Justin Vernon is no doubt a good influence to have, the quality stands through in this track. With warm, clean guitar, some snazzy keyboard work, and haunting violins, the trio creates a beautiful folk sound that strikes me as perfectly fitting for North Carolina.

The Clearing will be available March 6 of 2012.
