Carrousel

So, this is a bit of a weird one. When I was originally pitched the track, I could have sworn the artist was Carousel -- the LA-based synth-pop outfit. As such, when I hit play I thought I was hearing the often-predictable duo take a completely fresh route. And then I noticed the double R. That's right -- this ain't the same band (although they are also from LA). While I initially felt a bit thrown off, I had to admit that the song had caught my fancy. And so, on their own merit, Carrousel deserve a feature on the site. As such, today we bring you the premiere of their debut single "August 5th." Hopefully you dig.
