I can’t begin to explain to you how difficult it was to find any information on this band. However, what I did find out from Google is that Cayucos is a nice little beach town in California. Well, I can certainly say Cayucas sure make the right sort of music for any beach town.
We’re not sure what the relationship of the band is to the town, but this song is definitely very, “Let’s take a romantic road trip up to Cayucos so we can frolic around on the beach!” Everything about “Cayucos” is fun, from the way that the lead singer verbalizes Cayucos to that casual guitar strum and punctuating percussion.
If you’re hitting up the beach anytime soon, “Cayucos” is a must have on your playlist.
