Ahhh, just what I need to wind down from a hectic day: the perfect chilled-out track from Brooklyn’s Chalk and Numbers titled ”Pretty Colors.”
This light-hearted song is delicately constructed and truly a pleasant listen if you’re looking to tone things down and relax. The electric guitar is intricate and twinkling, the drums keep a modest beat, the piano lightly prances around, and the vocals are so adorable. It reminds me a little bit of a bubblegum pop group from the 60s. There’s a wistful and dreamy aspect to this song that makes for a lovely listen.
