What's so good?

There's something a little special about Cillie Barnes. She's sweet, but at the same time, she has some real raw emotion and attitude about her, something I love when it come to female vocalists. "Brainwash" is the lead single from her debut Happy Valley, and it's a delightful bit of indie pop.

The L.A . singer manages to encompass numerous genres within just one song, blending a mix of rock, hip-hop and folk to create an infectious debut single.  As you'll notice, it's almost as if there are multiple singers within this one track, with Cillie managing to switch between multiple personas during the chorus and verses.

No release date for the debut album as of yet, but I'll keep you posted!
