The Swedes harmonize, utilizing echoing layers atop beach-infused notes with a slow, deliberate, soft percussion in the background. String instruments come in at the perfect moment, supplying depth and soul to the track, while Lykke Li’s vocals perfectly float over the supporting vocalists. With winter slowly drifting away, this is the perfect track to welcome warmer weather, BBQs, and day drinking – so, pretty much the best things on the planet.
The eccentric, amazingly talented artist announced the single just this week via Twitter, stating “Did I never show you this? Me singing with Deportees!” Well, to speak for the general public, we are elated you did.
