After meeting at a party, Jack Woods and Jake Schwenke discovered a common love for music production. Following a stop-start beginning which saw the duo juggling studies and travel, they’re now on a roll having recorded new music in Melbourne. Operating under the alias Dracula Palms, they’ve just released two tracks with more in the pipeline.

After early experimentation with psychedelic music, their new sound is much more dance friendly. Full of slick, funky bass lines and reverbed vocal melodies, it’s impossible not to enjoy.

With their focus re-aligned on writing and recording, no doubt Dracula Palms will be heating up a d-floor near you in the not too distant future.
