In case you’ve been living under a rock, Ellie Goulding just released her new album Halcyon. It didn’t do as well as Macklemore’s debut (the same week), but it has certainly garnered a lot of attention through the blogosphere.
One track that wasn’t on the official release was “Stay Awake,” produced by Madeon. The song was, however, included as one of four bonus tracks on a Tesco exclusive edition (yes, the UK chain). I kinda wish that the teenage phenom Madeon had gotten a bit more attention for this one, but I have a feeling that he’s got plenty more opportunity down the road.
Oh, and trivia tidbit for those rock dwellers: Ellie Goulding’s boyfriend is Skrillex.
