Shufflers, meet Field Mouse, a four piece dreamwave, shoegaze group from Brooklyn, NY. Forming in 2010, it was obvious that Field Mouse had a fantastic grasp on innovative pop sensibility as they released single after single to much adoration from their growing fan base.
Field Mouse’s newest single, “How Do You Know,” is simply gorgeous. It’s sonically lush base will lasso you in right from the start and hold a firm grasp till the end. The textures that make up the bulk of this song are thick yet flowing, setting the stage for a slightly melancholy but beautifully orchestrated modern downtempo synth ballad.
