What a pleasant surprise to wake up to this morning! T.E.E.D. remixing Foals? Talk about a powerhouse combo!
The remix comes with good occasion: Foals are gearing up for their third studio album Holy Fire (due in February of 2013), and have released two songs to date: “Inhaler” and “My Number.”
From what we’ve heard so far, they’re maintaining their distinct guitar / tight percussion sound. So, hearing a slightly downtempo deep house rendition of this track is wholly refreshing: T.E.E.D. has re-imagined this one from the ground up, which is in my opinion usually the best way a remix can be done.
