What's so good?
By Sean O | August 31st, 2012
I assembled this playlist after a long day of work as tribute to the dope producers and emcees that helped me through the week. Ideal playing conditions include right now, your next smoking session, and that late night run to In & Out.
It’s hard to go wrong with producers like Flying Lotus, Handbook, and A Sol Mechanic. Time and time again they turn out quality work just begging to be turned up. I’m also happy to shine a light on AJ Rice’s “Perth” remix. Such a hidden gem considering the number of Bon Iver remixes being tossed about by the blogs.
Gotta give a quick big up to Rob Yung for his debut EP, Royal Minority. A track like “Thank You” restores my faith a bit in the future of hip hop. Lastly, I always like to support Neo Safari when I get the chance. Definitely digging his GRiZ-esque turn on “Spasmatic.”
