Returning to Australia after a few years writing and performing overseas, Brisbane’s Georgia Potter is back in more ways than one. The singer/songwriter was always a talented lyricist and performer, but now she’s taken on a slightly different sound on her new single “Reckless.”
Produced by local acts Yukon Snakes and Slamagotchi, “Reckless” has a more electronic make-up to it when compared with her previous releases. Still highlighting Potter’s smouldering vocals, the track is an interesting combination of R&B, dark pop and electronica. This track has a very “female Frank Ocean” feel to it, an interesting concept which reaps superb results in practice.
