Gold & Youth is a Canadian-based quartet whose first album, Beyond Wilderness, is due out sometime this summer via Arts & Crafts. While their work has already been featured elsewhere over the past few months, it is long past due that we get them in the Indie Shuffle database.
For “Time To Kill,” Gold & Youth brought in vocalist Louise Burns, which sounds like good decision to me. The vocal harmonies on this tune mix so well with the mellow guitar work, slowed drumming and slight electronic ambiance.
