What's so good?
By Jason Grishkoff | Nov 25, 2012

I lament that the Thanksgiving weekend produces very few tracks. I was hoping that non-US bands might be releasing new singles, but perhaps they've wised up to the fact that it'd be relatively bad timing.

So once again, we're posting something from a little while ago. Grimes' "Vanessa," a single that was released as part of a 12" split EP with Montreal artist d"Eon back in 2011. While it didn't make the cut, this track may as well have been part of her much-hyped Visions.

Bottom line: this girl is weird, and so is her music. And apparently lots of people like that.
