Halsey

Ashley Frangipane, aka Halsey (an anagram of Ashley), is the newest teen sensation to shake up the blogosphere with her debut single "Ghost." For a 19 year old, she sure knows how to deliver one hard-hitting electro pop piece that will leave a lasting impression.I hate to compare yet another female vocalist with Lauren Mayberry, but honestly there is a distinct similarity that is quite evident here (it's definitely not a bad thing). The production is what impresses me the most though, matching shimmering synths with dark atmospherics, coupled perfectly with Ashley's offbeat lyricism.Expecting big things from Halsey in 2014!
