You’d think that when you put together two amazing bands like Four Tet and Hot Chip, you’d get one of the most amazing songs out there. But, perhaps I’ve set the bar a little high.
Four Tet’s take on “Look At Where We Are” is super simple. It doesn’t progress anywhere at alarming rate, and adds very little to the vocal stylings of Alexis Taylor (lead singer).
That said, as I continue to listen more and more, my appreciation for the track grows. It’s no life-changer, but there’s something quite nice about 7-and-a-half minutes of it.
