At this point Lana Del Rey must surely hold the record for most-remixed artist, ever. Take that, Miike Snow!
On top of that, the vast majority of these remixes end up being pretty good. From RAC to Jamie Woon to Count Ninjula, there’s clearly something about the downtempo nature of her vocals that lends itself to easy and successful mixing.
Indeed, LA-based Pat Grossi of Active Child has no trouble putting his signature downtempo, harp-laden sound to the single “Ride.” The results are mellow and distinct, certain to set off a good playlist.
