What's so good?

Levek is premiering another track from his upcoming album, Look A Little Closer, set to release on September 25. This time around, he’s a bit more atmospheric.

For the most part, “French Lessons” is purely instrumental. It’s orchestral and psychedelic with a thick retro feel. Think 70s spaceship acid trip. Eventually, the vocals join the song and contribute a beautifully harmonized aspect to an already lush and layered track. There are a lot of different keyboard and synth effects, all very calculated and precise. The bass winds in and out but never misses a beat. And the beat, of course, is classic.

“French Lessons” has just enough twists and turns to keep you engaged and wanting more. Think of this song more as a journey. You’re riding the wave of Levek and there’s no telling where he’ll take you.
