Poolside really has come out of nowhere. For us, it all started with their cover of Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon,” and has quickly progressed into hit after hit — including great originals “Slow Down” and “Why You Wanna.”
So today, when Matthew Dear uploaded a new remix of his track “Her Fantasy” (off upcoming album Beams), I had little doubt that I was in for an audible treat. Sure enough, the nu-disco tendencies of the LA-based duo provide the perfect accompaniment for Matthew’s baritone, futuristic vocals.
