"Modern, Normal"

Sounds like: Washed Out, MillionYoung, Memory Tapes, Teen Daze

What's so good?

Memoryhouse is offering up their newest single, “Modern, Normal,” for free download on their Tumblr. This lovely ambient track is a sneak peek of what their remastered, re-recorded, and remixed EP The Years will sound like when its re-released in September. And yes, that’s a whole lotta “re.”

From the band:

“So if nothing else, take with you the understanding that re-imagining The Years was a thorough and well-considered process, one that should hopefully yield many listens as the clock inches ever closer towards our first L.P.”

This Toronto-based band is known for their lo-fi dream pop that groups them with artists like MillionYoung, Teen Daze, and the recently popular Washed Out. Needless to say, pressing that “Click to play” blue button will undoubtedly launch a wonderful playlist.
