What's so good?
By Jason Grishkoff | Dec 13, 2011

Ah Adventure Club, you've done it again. Much like your remixes of Brand New and James Vincent McMorrow, you've successfully tackled an indie rock song and turned it into a beautiful dubstep remix.

In the cross-hairs this time is Metric's "Collect Call," a song originally released back in 2009 on the album Fantasies. "Collect Call" has found itself remixed a few times, including this beautiful version by Cosmonaut Grechko. The contrast between the two tracks is quite substantial, and frankly I'd be inclined to argue that Comrade Grechko's is the more beautiful/original...but I'll let that slide. This one's still great on its own.
