MillionYoung probably landed on my radar back in 2009, when our editor Hannah recommended that I check him out. It was right around that time that I was listening to Memory Tapes feverishly, so naturally I ended up liking the Florida-based Mike Diaz.
Ironically, MillionYoung’s new track “Variable” actually sounds a whole lot like Memory Tapes’ 2009 album Seek Magic. And given that I’ve had a hard time getting into new material from Memory Tapes, this is actually a pretty welcome similarity.
“Variable” is the title track off MillionYoung’s upcoming album Variable, which will be released February 12th via Old Flame Records / Rix Records.
