What’s the advantage to being longtime friends with Thom Yorke? Well for German electronica duo Modeselektor, it means that he’ll occasionally collaborate with you on tracks. We’ve featured one such example, “The White Flash,” on Indie Shuffle in the past, but today we’ve got a sneak peak at another awesome track.
“Shipwreck” comes as one of two collaborations off Modeselektor’s upcoming LP Monkeytown, set for release September 27th. If you haven’t already figured it out, I’d highly recommend you listen to this track on a sound system with crisp bass. Otherwise you’ll be missing some of the best parts.
